The absence of Mr. or Mrs. B (2009)
In a remote Iranian village, a wife and her husband have been married for years without conceiving. Iran’s policy requiring married couples to have children places additional strain on the couple, whose relationship is already deeply troubled. Mr and Mrs B make repeated trips to IVF clinics, without success. The social pressure to have a child compounds the couple’s anxiety and drives a wedge even further between them, whilst demanding that they continue to have an intimate relationship. This film explores an unstable marriage made worse by infidelity, violence and an unforgiving society.

The film is about one of the ways to treat female infertility, in which sperm and egg are transplanted in a laboratory and borrowed into a third person's uterus, and eventually return the child to the parents. In this film, while explaining the benefits of this type of treatment, it also deals with its religious and customary aspects, as well as its legal and psychological aspects.

Private (2007)
Hamid is a debtor who has a check with a creditor. The day before the check, he runs out of money. He first tries to sell his kidney with the consent of his wife Venus, but he is opposed. Zohreh enters the story and tries to borrow the required amount of money from her relatives and acquaintances, but her efforts are not successful.
