This documentary is about the ceremonial mourning and lamentation in Islam. The film begins with images of the decorations of a Hosseiniyah. In the following, we hear the words of a cleric who describes the characteristics of a good lament. Then the selection process of the poet and lamentation by the Board of Trustees, the making of lamentation and poetry by them and finally the performance in Hosseinieh.
