Fight for Survival 2002
The documentary begins with images of the city, the twinkling red light draws our attention to the people who are carrying the burden of being a symbol of society's poverty. He then enters the topic of kidney sales by displaying images of papers related to kidney donation and sale. An expert from the Kidney Patients Support Association explains about these people. There are several interviews with needy people who have been forced to sell their kidneys due to rent, debt or homelessness.There is talk of illness and poverty for a large number of young people in the community, which has been compiled in parallel with a long picture of the city's towers. The process of removing the kidney is illustrated in full detail in another part of the film, and ends with a few more short interviews and finally images of counting money and going into a dark tunnel.
