Facing trench 2002
A defeated battalion is retreating. A woman rescuer is looking for her brother among the dead and wounded. A soldier asks him to retreat, but the woman only cares about her brother and is injured in an explosion. The soldier carries him with him to a stronghold where the battalion commander, who is a captain, is present. The captain treats the woman rudely, constantly mocking her and accusing her brother of running away, while the woman says her brother did not want to kill her. From the trench facing a man with raised arms approaches. The captain has no mercy on the captive and kills him. He is the woman's brother. Another soldier kills the captain in retaliation. The woman and the soldier wander in the desert, exhausted, thirsty, and wounded.
