The film begins with a scene in which an old man strokes a wounded bird and flies away. The old man goes to his son's graveyard and tells him that he wants to keep his word. He takes the money he has saved and buys a calf, and first goes to his son's grave, and after sacrificing a sheep, he also sacrifices the calf. He does so even though everyone forbids him to sacrifice the cow.
