It is the story of a man who escapes from prison after the Bam earthquake and finds himself displaced in the city and among the groves. Everywhere destroyed, the crying baby girl comes to him, the man continues on his way, and the girl follows him wherever he goes and calls his uncle. The man tries to escape from the child, but he can not. Finally, he goes to the girl, but the girl becomes impatient and gets away from him. The man hugs her to calm her down, but she can't. The man dances and makes fun of the girl and finally takes her with him. The girl tells him her name is Fatima and states that her aunt died the night before, the girl rides on the man's neck and reads poetry. The man shelters her and takes her with him in the dust of the rubble.
