Chogha Zanbil Ziggurat 2010
In 1935, while the British-Iranian Oil Company was drilling for oil near the Dez River, a New Zealand employee of the company (Brown) noticed a huge hill-like complex perched high. He found an inscribed brick from the complex buried under the ground. At the same time, a team of archaeologists was conducting archeological excavations 35 km from Susa. Brown took the brick to the group so that they might unravel the mystery of the hill. This is how oil drilling brought the name of Choghaznabil Ziggurat to life. In this documentary, this building is introduced.
