Dastgerd Yazd Shapooran 2013

This documentary explores the ancient Sassanid era in the city of "Dargaz" which is located today near the border of Iran and Turkmenistan. "Dastgerd" means the fertile land of a kingdom, where agriculture was carried out.This documentary examines the Sassanid archaeological site in the town of Dargaz in northeastern Iran near the border with Turkmenistan, and reports on 11 years of excavation and archaeological activity in the area that has led to the discovery and identification of artifacts. From the Sassanid period and related to the period of the fifth Sassanid Bahram or Bahramgor. Introducing a part of Iran's history along with identifying the ancient region of Dastgerd is one of the issues that are addressed. Dastgerd is in fact the concept of imperial lands that were fertile and where agriculture was practiced.
