Zar 2002
The film begins by entering the Khorramshahr and Abadan regions via the Arvand River, showing the ruins of the war and the statue of the "Sorani Sea" and a brief introduction to a ceremony. Finally, the narrator's interpretation raises the possibility: When African blacks were brought to places like Zanzibar to be sold as slaves, they had sorcerers among them who tried in some way to alleviate their grief of displacement and exile. "Zar" may have its roots in this ceremony.
